Chargers waived/injured WR Danario Alexander. Alexander tore his right ACL on August 6 and had reconstructive surgery on August 15. The quickness with which the procedure was performed suggests DX's ACL tear was clean and affected no other ligaments. It will be interesting to see whether any team takes a flier on him via the waiver process. To do so, they'd have to pay Alexander's full $1.323 million salary for a lost year. Alexander is a free agent in 2014, so we suspect he won't be claimed.
