Dion Lewis suffered a fractured fibula in Thursday night's preseason game against the Lions. Lewis was carted off the field in the second half. He had secured the No. 2 running back job with Montario Hardesty (knee scope) on the shelf, but will now likely miss at least first couple months of the season. It's a tough break for Lewis, who rushed for 55 yards on ten carries through two preseason games. Brandon Jackson is the new favorite to be Trent Richardson's top backup.
