Dan Bailey is in position to open the season as the Cowboys' field-goal kicker. Bailey is an undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State that won the Lou Groza award as the country's best collegiate kicker last season. While the Cowboys figure to comb the waiver wire for a veteran option this week, Bailey has a real chance to stick. David Buehler will handle kickoffs.
