Bucs signed K Lawrence Tynes to a one-year contract. Connor Barth blew out his Achilles' tendon while playing in a charity basketball game, opening up a chance for Tynes to get off the street. The Giants moved onto Josh Brown even though Tynes had a career-year in 2012, hitting on 33-of-39 field goals and ranking second in the league with 145 points. He was a Pro Bowl alternate.
