Panthers coach Ron Rivera confirmed the team's "curiosity" in free agent SS Quintin Mikell. Eight days ago, sources told CSN Philly that the Panthers were "talking" with Mikell. Nothing has developed since, but the fit makes a whole lot of sense. Mikell would be a massive upgrade on the likes of Haruki Nakamura, D.J. Campbell, Mike Mitchell, and Robert Lester as a "box" safety.
