Patriots placed DE Brandon Deaderick (shoulder) on the reserve/PUP list. He'll be eligible to return in Week 8 against the Steelers. A seventh-round pick last year, Deaderick was productive in parts of 10 games, tallying 10 tackles and two sacks. Although he wasn't believed to have a roster spot sewn up heading into camp, he now seems likely to stick with the Pats all season as long as he gets healthy.
