Free agent DE John Abraham has reportedly told at least one team he wants to be on the field for 60 percent of the snaps this season. In theory, it's not an unreasonable request. Abraham played on 71.6 percent of the Falcons' defensive snaps last season, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 5 overall 4-3 defensive end. However, he's now 35 years old and is giving teams "sticker shock" with his asking price. The Broncos, for example, were interested in him as a third-down pass-rusher before they settled on Shaun Phillips. At some point, Abraham will swallow his pride and accept a specialist role along with Dwight Freeney kind of money (two years, $8.75M). The Falcons, Titans and Patriots have all shown interest at various points this offseason.
