Dan Hellie of NBC Washington reports the Cowboys are interested in free agent DeAngelo Hall to play free safety. Hall gets deservingly ripped for his man coverage, but he's always been a quietly strong tackler with ball skills. It would make sense for Hall to try free safety in order to prolong his career. The Cowboys have scant cap space, but a cheap one-year deal could be a win for Hall if he doesn't get better offers.
