Chargers re-signed K Nick Novak to a four-year, $6.6 million contract, including a $1.5 million signing bonus. Novak, who turns 32 before the season, earned San Diego's confidence by making 18-of-20 field goal tries in 2012 and also converting all 33 of his PAT chances. The Chargers have officially turned the page on the Nate Kaeding era.
