The Miami Herald says "barring an unexpected change" Reggie Bush will reach free agency. Beat writer Armando Salguero says the Dolphins are likely headed in another direction, which presumes to be second-year back Lamar Miller paired with Daniel Thomas or some other cheap veteran. The team and Bush's agent have not yet had any substantive contract negotiations since the 2012 season kicked off, and it appears that "team-friendly" deal Miami was once planning to offer him may never appear at all. Bush could be seeking anywhere from $4.5-$8 million annually.

the word "cheap" says it all for Miami.
