Coach Norv Turner said defenses are yet to adjust to Danario Alexander.
Over the last five weeks, Alexander has 30 catches for 494 yards and five touchdowns. "He's still seeing a lot of single coverage, a lot of matchups where he's not getting the best (defensive back)," Turner said. "He's getting the third DB, and he's taking advantage of it, and I think we're taking advantage of it." Alexander might start seeing some more coverage roll his way, but it's not a huge concern. The 6'5/217 monster has more than enough talent to overcome it.
Megatron 6'5 236. Vjax 6'5 230. Andre Johnson 6'3 227. Fitz 6'3 218. Marshall 6'4 230.
Roddy White 6'0 211. Welker 5'9 185. Steve Smith 5'9 185. Cuz 6'0 204. Reggie Wayne 6'0 198.
Size doesn't really make you a monster. He might have the talent, but judging by his history there has to be a reason the Rams didn't utilize him. They basically paid the guy to leave the team. Maybe something on top of all the injuries he's had? After all he should have flourished in STL, they were worse off at WR and have a better run game. I guess Norv knew what he was doing. Lets see how long the brittle monster lasts.
yes. outside of their pass rush, they have a terrible D. Danario is 6'5 and is the new V-Jax. Floyd and Gates have no game-breaking speed, any/all big plays come from danario. Theyre sure as hell not going to be able to run the ball... Same goes for Cecil, you can't run against the dolphins, gotta pass. And cobb, well, he has rodgers with jordy hurt, jennings not 100%, and james jones falling out of favor.
12 team ppr- A.J. Green @PHI , Julio Jones vs. Giants , Reggie Wayne @HOU , Danario Alexander vs. CAR , Ryan Mathews vs. CAR . 1 Flex , 2 WR . Green is a lock , just not sure who else . Thanks .
NOT RYAN MATTHEWS! HES BEEN TERRIBLE IN THE NFL AND GOT LUCKY AT FRESNO STATE WITH BIG RUNS. NOT ELITE. He's so bad i told him that he can... youtube.com
Ya , I was thinking similar to that . Just don't like sitting Alexander , especially cause I had him on the bench last week .. Haha , thanks and good luck to ypu both .
Haden's only interceptions this year have come from Vick,Dalton and Charlie Batch. Not exactly the best decision makers. Haden didn't even have an interception last year in 15 starts. Im sick of everybody bragging this dude up. He's average. Just like his team.
Theres alot of talent in the league but to call someone a shut down corner imo is comparing him to the best and Haden isn't there, be real... he's no Ty Law, he's no Champ Bailey, he's no Mel Blount, he's no Ronnie Lott, he's no Deion Sanders, he's no Darrelle Revis, he's no Rod Woodson, he's no Dick Lane.... Plain and simple
No one ever said he was a Hall of Famer there bud. You only list two active players on your little list. I'll give you Champ, but he's better than Revis, at least Haden can stay healthy. Even when Revis was healthy, he was overrated. Thanks for the moot points though.
Here's an opinion for you: Jaspertheghost doesn't know a shutdown CB when he sees one. He can, however, Google the hell out something when he wants to sound right like he knows what he's talking about, Begs is right about that.
Never thought I'd say it, but I'd go Dez with Alexander. Wallace is probably more talented than Dez, but I'm not sure Big Ben is 100% yet. Dez has been stepping up lately, and even though he's a head case, Romo will throw a lot, and Dez is his favorite target.
Dez is hurt too though, a broken finger on his hand that was bad enough they were considering shutting him down for the season. I'd take Roethlisberger playing through an injury (which he's almost always doing by this point in the season) over an already flukey Dez with a broken finger.
dude, there is zero chance that wallace is more talented than dez...they are both head cases but when it comes to talent i think there is a decent margin
He should have been saying this after game 3, not 14, if he was going to be this stupid. How does anyone miss a guy 6'5", 217, that can catch the ball over most of the league? Don't play the tall guy till too late in the season, don't pass to Gates, and baby Matthews; Norvgate is underway since somebody must be sliding money under the table.
D. Alexander just got signed with the Chargers off the street less than 2 months ago... St. Louis released him... Not a bad pick up for someone off the street!!!
He got picked up after St Louis let him go!!! He didn't even get signed till week "6or7"... Week 7 was a BYE week!!! He started in place of R.M. In week 9 because of a hamstring problem... Do your "homework"!!! Who sounds stupid now???
Not only telling defenses to adjust/cover him but putting DA down by saying, his success is ONLY because he's been getting the 3rd WR! Way to give your guy confidence Norvous! DA is/has been a beast! If not for bad injuries he would have stuck with the Rams

JasaksThu 12/13/12 11:20 AM
cobb by ranking. but none of them will disappoint, all good options for big plays.
jackhensonThu 12/13/12 11:31 AM
D. Alex does well against the Panthers secondary?

Picks dont make or break a corner he swats the ball away and immediately make the tackle
JaspertheghostThu 12/13/12 7:02 PM
All would be great if that was the case... I watch him every week and he gets beat often, he's allowed TDs to Macklin,T. Smith, Bryant, Green...
ThatManThu 12/13/12 8:22 PM
He's a shut down corner plain and simple. You obviously don't watch him every week if you think he and his team are average, be real.
JaspertheghostThu 12/13/12 9:42 PM

flyingwallendasWed 12/12/12 9:25 PM
