Coach Norv Turner said defenses are yet to adjust to Danario Alexander. Over the last five weeks, Alexander has 30 catches for 494 yards and five touchdowns. "He's still seeing a lot of single coverage, a lot of matchups where he's not getting the best (defensive back)," Turner said. "He's getting the third DB, and he's taking advantage of it, and I think we're taking advantage of it." Alexander might start seeing some more coverage roll his way, but it's not a huge concern. The 6'5/217 monster has more than enough talent to overcome it.

Megatron 6'5 236. Vjax 6'5 230. Andre Johnson 6'3 227. Fitz 6'3 218. Marshall 6'4 230.

Roddy White 6'0 211. Welker 5'9 185. Steve Smith 5'9 185. Cuz 6'0 204. Reggie Wayne 6'0 198.

Size doesn't really make you a monster. He might have the talent, but judging by his history there has to be a reason the Rams didn't utilize him. They basically paid the guy to leave the team. Maybe something on top of all the injuries he's had? After all he should have flourished in STL, they were worse off at WR and have a better run game. I guess Norv knew what he was doing. Lets see how long the brittle monster lasts.

Noahstoekman Fri 12/14/12 3:13 PM

Danario,Wallace,Jones,Garscon and Johnson i need to pick 3 of them

Fletchisawesome Thu 12/13/12 5:46 PM

alexander or shorts? pick 1

my other 2 wideout slots r taken by aj green and andre johnson

SalsaEater Fri 12/14/12 7:36 PM

Too easy to answer.

Chthulu Thu 12/13/12 8:31 AM

Cobb or Danario this week?

Chthulu Thu 12/13/12 8:35 AM

Crap, make that Cobb, Danario, or Shorts for my 3rd WR slot? Other two spotstaken by Green and V KJax.

Jasaks Thu 12/13/12 11:20 AM

cobb by ranking. but none of them will disappoint, all good options for big plays.

jackhenson Thu 12/13/12 11:31 AM

D. Alex does well against the Panthers secondary?

Jasaks Thu 12/13/12 11:35 AM

yes. outside of their pass rush, they have a terrible D. Danario is 6'5 and is the new V-Jax. Floyd and Gates have no game-breaking speed, any/all big plays come from danario. Theyre sure as hell not going to be able to run the ball... Same goes for Cecil, you can't run against the dolphins, gotta pass. And cobb, well, he has rodgers with jordy hurt, jennings not 100%, and james jones falling out of favor.

rjg47 Wed 12/12/12 8:55 PM

12 team ppr- A.J. Green @PHI , Julio Jones vs. Giants , Reggie Wayne @HOU , Danario Alexander vs. CAR , Ryan Mathews vs. CAR . 1 Flex , 2 WR . Green is a lock , just not sure who else . Thanks .

Jasaks Wed 12/12/12 9:13 PM

NOT RYAN MATTHEWS! HES BEEN TERRIBLE IN THE NFL AND GOT LUCKY AT FRESNO STATE WITH BIG RUNS. NOT ELITE. He's so bad i told him that he can... youtube.com

rjg47 Wed 12/12/12 10:55 PM

Haha ok , thanks I guess ? Lol

Riggs44R Wed 12/12/12 11:04 PM

It's gotta be the first 3 you listed

rjg47 Wed 12/12/12 11:31 PM

Ya , I was thinking similar to that . Just don't like sitting Alexander , especially cause I had him on the bench last week .. Haha , thanks and good luck to ypu both .

The_Main_Man Thu 12/13/12 8:11 AM

I would say Green, Wayne, and Alexander.

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 12:19 PM

Green>Wayne>Alexander>Jones>Matthews

Joe_Weibel25 Thu 12/13/12 3:04 PM

Green jones alexander wayne matthews

rjg47 Thu 12/13/12 5:19 PM

Thanks guys . Good luck to u all .

aceofspades2346 Wed 12/12/12 12:24 PM

Dez, Garcon, Nicks, Walace, alexander pick 2

Yoshi Wed 12/12/12 12:50 PM

Wallace, Alexander.

RP65 Wed 12/12/12 1:29 PM

Garcon and Alexander

Joe_Weibel25 Wed 12/12/12 4:00 PM

garcon and Alexander

Phinfan85 Wed 12/12/12 4:42 PM

garcon if rg3 plays... Dez if he plays

Yoshi Wed 12/12/12 4:42 PM

Garcon will have Haden on him, good luck with that.

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 12:10 PM

Haden sucks

ThatMan Thu 12/13/12 3:20 PM

That's ignorant talk.

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 4:38 PM

Haden's only interceptions this year have come from Vick,Dalton and Charlie Batch. Not exactly the best decision makers. Haden didn't even have an interception last year in 15 starts. Im sick of everybody bragging this dude up. He's average. Just like his team.

Joe_Weibel25 Thu 12/13/12 5:37 PM

Picks dont make or break a corner he swats the ball away and immediately make the tackle

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 7:02 PM

All would be great if that was the case... I watch him every week and he gets beat often, he's allowed TDs to Macklin,T. Smith, Bryant, Green...

ThatMan Thu 12/13/12 8:22 PM

He's a shut down corner plain and simple. You obviously don't watch him every week if you think he and his team are average, be real.

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 9:42 PM

Theres alot of talent in the league but to call someone a shut down corner imo is comparing him to the best and Haden isn't there, be real... he's no Ty Law, he's no Champ Bailey, he's no Mel Blount, he's no Ronnie Lott, he's no Deion Sanders, he's no Darrelle Revis, he's no Rod Woodson, he's no Dick Lane.... Plain and simple

begs Fri 12/14/12 3:27 AM

chair<haden<lazyboy

ThatMan Fri 12/14/12 11:37 AM

No one ever said he was a Hall of Famer there bud. You only list two active players on your little list. I'll give you Champ, but he's better than Revis, at least Haden can stay healthy. Even when Revis was healthy, he was overrated. Thanks for the moot points though.

Jaspertheghost Fri 12/14/12 4:11 PM

You don't even have an arguement.. I was listing shut down corners what does it matter if there active players or not lol

begs Fri 12/14/12 4:14 PM

jasper google searched top 10 corners of all-time and now he thinks he knows about football

Jaspertheghost Fri 12/14/12 4:32 PM

begs is too pussy to form his own opinion so he creaps around fleaflicker and talks shlt

begs Fri 12/14/12 11:01 PM

too pussy to get in an argument on an online forum? damn man you mad gangsterish disrespectin' peeps on this thread

Riggs44R Fri 12/14/12 11:25 PM

He did get ya there, you are like that.

ThatMan Fri 12/14/12 11:54 PM

Here's an opinion for you: Jaspertheghost doesn't know a shutdown CB when he sees one. He can, however, Google the hell out something when he wants to sound right like he knows what he's talking about, Begs is right about that.

begs Sat 12/15/12 1:39 AM

dammit Riggs I got 8 days to my retirement, and I will NOT make a stupid mistake!

Riggs44R Sat 12/15/12 1:47 AM

okkkkkk??? LoL

PenskeDave Wed 12/12/12 7:58 PM

Never thought I'd say it, but I'd go Dez with Alexander. Wallace is probably more talented than Dez, but I'm not sure Big Ben is 100% yet. Dez has been stepping up lately, and even though he's a head case, Romo will throw a lot, and Dez is his favorite target.

WackAttack Wed 12/12/12 8:47 PM

Dez is hurt too though, a broken finger on his hand that was bad enough they were considering shutting him down for the season. I'd take Roethlisberger playing through an injury (which he's almost always doing by this point in the season) over an already flukey Dez with a broken finger.

PenskeDave Wed 12/12/12 8:51 PM

Didn't know about the Dez injury. That certainly changes the equation.

Phinfan85 Wed 12/12/12 8:51 PM

Wait, what? Wallace is more talented then Dez? Really?? I don't think their even close if Dez is fully healthy!

flyingwallendas Wed 12/12/12 9:25 PM

dude, there is zero chance that wallace is more talented than dez...they are both head cases but when it comes to talent i think there is a decent margin

Riggs44R Wed 12/12/12 11:06 PM

I concur completely! Wallace is just fast, that's it! He's dropped quite a few the past 2 seasons, also.

flyingwallendas Wed 12/12/12 11:31 PM

i picked up eman sanders in my dynasty league expecting wallace to be audi 5000

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 12:20 PM

Garcon>Dez(if he plys)>Alexander>Nicks>Wallace

Joe_Weibel25 Thu 12/13/12 5:39 PM

I like that except Alexander over Dez Alex is the playmaker Dez is too inconsistent

Yoshi Wed 12/12/12 11:03 AM

Thanks NORV for telling all the defenses to guard him now!!!

Fabio49ers Wed 12/12/12 11:16 AM

I was about to say the same $hit!!! I can't come up with one reason how this garbage still has a job as a head coach in this league...

Yoshi Wed 12/12/12 12:50 PM

He will be gone after the season ends.

Mish Wed 12/12/12 8:08 PM

Please, please, please, please, please, please, please!

Gridiron-IQ Thu 12/13/12 8:42 AM

For sure

Jaspertheghost Thu 12/13/12 5:11 PM

dx

sleekviper Wed 12/12/12 1:47 PM

He should have been saying this after game 3, not 14, if he was going to be this stupid. How does anyone miss a guy 6'5", 217, that can catch the ball over most of the league? Don't play the tall guy till too late in the season, don't pass to Gates, and baby Matthews; Norvgate is underway since somebody must be sliding money under the table.

HollywdSean Wed 12/12/12 9:24 PM

D. Alexander just got signed with the Chargers off the street less than 2 months ago... St. Louis released him... Not a bad pick up for someone off the street!!!

I_AM_BRUNO Wed 12/12/12 9:27 PM

i agree with most of that, but do ur homework. D.A. didn't start until wk 6or7 you only sound as stupid as the guy ur putting down.

HollywdSean Wed 12/12/12 10:06 PM

He got picked up after St Louis let him go!!! He didn't even get signed till week "6or7"... Week 7 was a BYE week!!! He started in place of R.M. In week 9 because of a hamstring problem... Do your "homework"!!! Who sounds stupid now???

sleekviper Wed 12/12/12 10:59 PM

I think that he means me Hollywd.

HollywdSean Thu 12/13/12 6:55 PM

Oh, lol... I was just trying to be informative...

PenskeDave Wed 12/12/12 8:04 PM

Is there any bigger idiot HC in the league? I've watched him misuse Mathews all year. Now he's about to jynx his best WR. What a dork!

Phinfan85 Thu 12/13/12 2:27 AM

Two words... Romeo Crenell hahhahahaha

warriors2185 Fri 12/14/12 1:13 PM

LOL

Riggs44R Wed 12/12/12 11:09 PM

Not only telling defenses to adjust/cover him but putting DA down by saying, his success is ONLY because he's been getting the 3rd WR! Way to give your guy confidence Norvous! DA is/has been a beast! If not for bad injuries he would have stuck with the Rams

mikeditka4729 Wed 12/12/12 10:39 AM

nah there just not use to rivers completing passes yet

Yoshi Wed 12/12/12 11:04 AM

That's true, they just expect it to hit the field or go into the stands.
