Bills GM Buddy Nix reiterated that he plans to draft a franchise quarterback in 2013.
"Let me be as honest as I can," Nix said. "I think we really need to address it this year. The thing we can't do is you can't create one. You can't go out, thinking 'I've got to make this guy a player.' If you do, then you're going to be in a bigger mess." It's the second time in a week that Nix has made it clear Ryan Fitzpatrick is no longer viewed as the quarterback of the future. Fitzpatrick has a $3 million roster bonus on top of a $4.25 million base salary next season.
