New Bills backup QB Tarvaris Jackson agreed to slash his salary from $4 million to $1.75 million in order to expedite his trade to Buffalo. Jackson's new contract probably allows him to earn some or all of the pay cut back via incentives, although they're certainly "unlikely to be earned" as he's entrenched behind Ryan Fitzpatrick. At $1.75 million, Jackson is a better, cheaper upgrade on Tyler Thigpen. Look for Thigpen to be among Friday's cuts.
