Cutler completed 17 of 27 passes for 130 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Cutler connected with six different receivers, though none of them finished with more than Martellus Bennett's 37 yards, while Alshon Jeffery caught the lone touchdown. The positive is that Cutler did not turn the ball over for just the second time since Week 2, though he failed to reach 200 yards for the third time this season. Prospects don't look particularly good for Week 13, as the Bears will face off against a Lions defense allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards per game this season.
I guess fumbles lost don't count as turnovers? Where do these writers come from? Let me write the story... "Cutler once again choked. He failed to eclipse 150 yards passing and double digit fantasy points at home against one of the worst passing defenses in football. He's no longer worth owning. Furthermore, his attitude on the field sucks. He shows no leadership and looks like a baby that had his binky taken away. Cut ties with him while you still have some respect as a fantasy coach."
If you need Cutler for the playoffs you're in trouble. He may have one good game left in him but no way he puts together enough good games in a row to lead you to the crown. Best of luck to you.
I'm finally starting Flacco over Cutler. Should have done that this past week. Knowing my luck, Cutler will have a good game and Flacco won't. It's usually like that for me. I start someone I should have benched and bench someone I should have started.
That's a tough combo. I'd just go with the matchups. Lucky for me I had Brady so I could cut the guy. Couldn't even stand the sight of Cutler on my bench. Deserved to be waived.
