Cobb caught 5-of-7 targets for 126 yards and his ninth touchdown of the season in Sunday's 44-23 loss to the Saints. Cobb actually had a pretty quiet night after hauling in a 70-yard touchdown on the Packers' first drive. Oddly enough, Eddie Lacy and Davante Adams were tied with a team-high nine targets apiece, while Cobb (seven) and Jordy Nelson (five) combined for just 12. We wouldn't read much into that, as Cobb and Nelson have far and away been Aaron Rodgers' favorite options this season. Cobb is actually averaging a modest 6.8 targets per game, but that's easily good for second on the Packers, and he has produced more than 10 yards per target while turning one out of every six into a touchdown. Though the latter is obviously unsustainable, Cobb could easily benefit from increased volume in the second half of the season, which would compensate for the inevitable touchdown regression.

Inevitable? Not so.
