Vick replaced an ineffective Geno Smith in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Bills and finished 18-of-36 passing for 153 yards with an interception. He added eight carries for 69 yards. The Jets were hoping that Vick could give the team a spark, and while he did make a few plays with his legs that energized the crowd, the offense didn't fare a whole lot better with him under center. Smith's benching seemed to be purely performance-related, but after the game he underwent X-rays on his shoulder, the results of which the Jets did not reveal. Regardles of Smith's injury status, coach Rex Ryan said he has "no idea" who will start next week against the Chiefs. Neither option is especially appealing.
