Smith (chest) returned to practice on a limited basis Saturday, The Baltimore Sun reports. The same goes for fellow starting cornerback Lardarius Webb (back), who seems to be in more danger than Smith when it comes to potentially missing Week 1. Projected No. 3 corner Asa Jackson (ankle) also returned from an injury to practice Saturday, as the Ravens are quite banged up at a position where they lack depth. Should any of the aforementioned three corners miss Week 1, Chykie Brown, Dominique Franks and/or Derek Cox could be asked to step into bigger roles. There isn't much IDP appeal here, but Smith and Webb could both be worth a look if they're healthy to start the season.
