Stafford is inactive for Thursday's preseason finale in Buffalo, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. As expected, Stafford heads a number of Lions stalwarts sitting out the last exhibition before the regular season kicks off. He finished the preseason completing 21-of-30 passes for 204 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. While the offense scuffled somewhat under his direction in the third preseason game, he led three touchdown drives and another for a field goal in 10 total possessions.
