ESPN Steelers reporter Scott Brown says Lance Moore "stood out as much as any player" during offseason practices. Moore has proven to a quick study in Todd Haley's scheme, which isn't surprising for a savvy eight-year veteran. We're still skeptical he'll be effective in replacing Jerricho Cotchery. The 5'9/182 Moore won't have the same red-zone impact as the 6'1/200 Cotchery, and had separation issues in his age-30 season in New Orleans. We'd rather take a flier on likely starting "X" Markus Wheaton.

A "flier" on wheaton will cost significantly more than moore, can't really compare the 2.

Everyone's worried about who is gonna replace Sander's production in the lineup. I wouldn't want Sander's numbers out of a WR...he was always an 800 yard ceiling type of guy in Pitts....6 Tds 1 year and 1 TD the year before. It's like are we fishing for the next big WR5?

I could see him having a pretty good year since Antonio Brown will draw a ton of attention from defenses. I wouldn't draft him tho.
