ESPN Boston reports there hasn't been "any movement" in extension talks between the Patriots and contract-year FS Devin McCourty. Escalators pushed McCourty's 2014 base salary to $3.92 million, while he's set to count $5.115 million against the cap. A converted corner, McCourty graded out as Pro Football Focus' top-rated safety in 2013, and has played at least 80 percent of the Patriots' defensive snaps in each of his first four seasons. He's the linchpin of Bill Belichick's sometimes-shambolic secondary.
