Cardinals placed OLB Sam Acho on injured reserve with an ankle injury, ending his season. Acho suffered the injury in Arizona's Week 3 loss to Detroit. Since an impressive rookie season (seven sacks, four forced fumbles) in 2011, Acho has seemingly flatlined as a player, and was only playing about 50 percent of the snaps in new DC Todd Bowles' defense. He's signed cheaply through 2014, but the Cards need to find a more explosive edge presence in the offseason.
