Patriots released RB/KR Leon Washington. They're eating a $360,000 signing bonus. Washington is 31 years old now, and the Patriots clearly believe he's lost a step. He also lost a fumble in New England's preseason finale. Washington will probably get one more look from an NFL team, but his career looks headed the way of Josh Cribbs'.
