Jaguars claimed QB Ricky Stanzi off waivers from the Chiefs. Stanzi is likely just being claimed as an extra arm for Thursday's preseason finale. He shouldn't push UDFA Matt Scott for No. 3 duties.

Who writes this stuff? Why would the first team on waiver priorities claim a QB to be an "extra arm". Stanzi will be starting by mid season.
