Cardinals waived RB William Powell. Powell, 25, didn't stand a chance of making the 53-man roster after the Cardinals added Rashard Mendenhall, Andre Ellington, and Stepfan Taylor to the backfield mix. Powell appeared in 13 games last season, starting one, and ran for 217 yards on 60 carries behind the worst offensive line in the sport.
