The Rams are now considered "not likely" to re-sign free agent SS Quintin Mikell. The Rams left Mikell's nameplate above his locker-room stall for much of the spring, but decided to move forward with journeyman Matt Giordano. The Panthers have since jumped into the mix. Mikell would make a lot of sense in Carolina, reuniting with former Eagles defensive backs coach Sean McDermott.
