The 49ers released TE Cameron Morrah. Morrah, 26, was signed by the team back in April as a potential "move" tight end. Having missed 37 games over his first four seasons, Morrah was considered a long shot to make the roster. When the team drafted TE Vance McDonald, Morrah became expendable.
