FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez "gets the feeling" recently-retired free agent K Jason Hanson would listen if asked about kicking in-season. Hanson, 43 in June, reiterated to Marvez that he only wanted to play for Detroit. The Lions inked 38-year-old David Akers last week, and they also signed Norwegian trick-kick artist Havard Rugland. If neither works out, there's a good chance they'd give Hanson a call. Hanson is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his plant foot, which caused him to retire last week.
