Giants signed LB Dan Connor, formerly of the Cowboys, to a one-year contract. Connor was a marked man in free agency, drawing visits with the Steelers, Raiders, and Giants. Connor was miscast for the Cowboys' 3-4 defense last season, but he'll return to a 4-3 with the Giants. He and Mark Herzlich will likely battle for middle linebacker duties. Connor should be able to hold him off.
