Johnson is signing a three-year contract with the Chargers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Johnson won't be the No. 1 wide receiver like he was back in Buffalo, but he should have a better opportunity than the one he got in San Francisco last season. At the very least, he'll be the No. 3 wide receiver for an offense that just allowed Eddie Royal to produce a 62-778-7 receiving line in that role. Johnson also has plenty of experience working on the outside, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him push Malcom Floyd for playing time in two-wide sets.

Why is this guy so much worse than he was 3 or 4 years ago? He is 28, he should be in his prime

He'll push Malcom Floyd like he did Boldin and Michael Crabtree!
