McFadden has agreed to a two-year contract with the Cowboys, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Coming off three straight seasons in which he averaged fewer than 3.5 yards per carry, McFadden will look to bounce back with the Cowboys in his age-28 campaign. While the upgrade in his offensive line will be massive, McFadden's once-elite athleticism has waned over the years, and 2014 marked the first time he played all 16 games. Given McFadden's lack of recent success, he'll have to earn his touches with a strong training camp and preseason. After losing DeMarco Murray to the Eagles, Dallas figures to bring in another running back or two via free agency and/or the draft. The team also has Lance Dunbar, Joseph Randle and Ryan Williams under contract. McFadden's best-case scenario likely involves splitting touches with one or two other players.

Good thing I traded for him last year. He can easily be a top 20 RB behind that O-line.

ok? I have McFadden and Dunbar on my team. #1 and 2 RBs for the team with the best O-line in the league. What's not to be excited about? I hate the cowboys but any RB will dominate behind that line.

give the guy a break, no one knows how he'll do.

the only thing we do know is that Run DMC has a better line to run behind, with a better WR on the side to take away pressure. the rest is conjecture up or down...

His success will be on the heels of skanks. Even a typical wench like Fred Taylor went behind enemy lines. He flourished with green feet into Canton and I'm just about certain that his own mother cares. That is his Mother. Not a typical pebble in the tree.

Watch McFadden have a monster year. He should with that offensive line.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him and Murray on the I.R by week 4.

Joepiggskin once said rg3 wins big games too. He said 8-8 last season too.

Freakin Cowboys fans. If any running back will flourish behind your offensive line, why even sign anyone. Aren't there other rb's on the team besides d. murray already. Dunbar was made out to be some secret weapon last off season. Why can't he have an 1,800 yard season, lol. I'm lovin these Cowboys fans. Salty as hell.

No, we realized that Murray is a loss but we also understand that the McFadden signing is just a little veteran insurance. The Cowboys have been saying all along that they were planning to address RB in the draft if they lose Murray. Nothing has changed.

Trust me I get it. Just tryin to bust stones. I'm not to sure about the Eagles either. I'd feel much better with Maclin. Hoping they get a receiver in the first round. I don't see how they can't. Even if we draft a safety and our defense is somehow #1 in the league, I still think this offense needs help. Can't put it all on 3 rb's.
