The Eagles will release Cole, ESPN.com reports. Given his ability to work in either a 4-3 or 3-4 defensive scheme, the 32-year-pld linebacker should have little trouble securing a new deal, on the heels of a 2014 season in which he recorded 52 tackles and 6.5 sacks in 15 games for the Eagles.
