The Lions announced Thursday that Moore would not be tendered a contract for 2015, the Detroit Free Press reports. As a result, Moore will become an unrestricted free agent. General manager Martin Mayhew did indicate a desire to re-sign Moore, who didn't see any snaps this past season as the Lions' No. 3 quarterback. If the Lions bring him back, Moore could be given the opportunity to compete for the top backup spot behind Matthew Stafford.
