Henne started three games this season, throwing for 492 yards and three touchdowns, before giving way to rookie Blake Bortles. The veteran, who started most of 2013, was originally slated to be the starter for the entire 2014 season as the Jaguars' groomed Bortles. However, after two-and-a-half shaky performances, Jacksonville made the call to hand the rookie the reins, relegating Henne to clipboard duty for the remainder of the season. Though Bortles by no means dazzled, he wasn't a complete disaster, and as a high first round pick he's essentially guaranteed to open 2015 as the starter. Henne, who is under contract through next season, will likely return as the backup.
