Long (ankle) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. A left ankle injury, suffered in the regular season opener, necessitated surgery and ended up costing Long more than two months of action. He's finally been cleared to return, though it would make sense if the Rams kept him on a snap count Sunday against Oakland.
