Allen caught 6-of-8 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Rams. He also lost a pair of fumbles in the game. It was a strong game for Allen, who showed off his nifty moves in the open field a season-long 35-yard catch, although a defender tracked him down from behind and stripped the ball. Later in the fourth quarter, Allen took a screen pass, and once again showed craftiness in space, breaking tackles on his way to a 29-yard touchdown. Philip Rivers, who has been banged up almost all season, hardly took any shots down the field, so we should continue to see Allen run shorter routes, taking advantage of his after-the-catch ability. He'll have a favorable matchup in Week 13, facing a injury-depleted Ravens' secondary.
