Tate could have a role in the offense this week against Green Bay with Matt Asiata ruled out with a concussion, but it's also not clear he'll be active, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Tate had just two days of practice after being claimed off waivers from Cleveland. Even if he is active, he may have a limited role as the backup to Jerick McKinnon. If Tate isn't active, the Joe Banyard could assume backup running back duties.
