Avery (groin) was a limited participant at Tuesday's practice, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' website reports. It's not clear how much work Avery was able to get in Tuesday, but he did more than he did the day before, when he was listed as a non-participant. Avery sat out last week despite getting in a few limited practices, so his status for this week's game remains in question despite him taking the field Tuesday.
