Blount was released by the Steelers on Tuesday.
The Steelers decided to part ways with Blount after he exited Monday's game prior to its conclusion, upset that he did not receive a carry during the contest. Blount averaged 4.1 yards per carry this season and has averaged 4.6 yards per run during his career, so he figures to garner interest from teams looking for running back help.
They don't have to give him any carries. If he can't handle that, I am sure there is a spot for him in the CFL. The Titans couldn't stop Bell and in a close game the Steelers did what they had to do to win. Blount deserved to get released. Now he has plenty of time to hand himself the ball on Madden all day long. haha
