Brian Cook PF UTA Sep 18 '12
The Wizards and Brian Cook have agreed to a non-guaranteed deal, according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.
Cook is the 18th player on the roster and the Wizards are as deep as they've been in quite some time. While he has some nice range for a 6'9" forward, Cook will turn 32 this year and is off the fantasy radar.

Brian Cook is not looking to be bought out of his contract.
Agent Mark Bartelstein said Cook has no plans to pursue a buyout by Friday's deadline and said Cook likes being on the Wizards. There was some chatter that Cook would be bought out, but he'll likely stick with the Wizards for the remainder of the season.

Brian Cook made his Wizards debut on Sunday, scoring three points and committing three personal fouls in eight minutes.
Cook made 1-of-4 shots with all of his attempts coming from downtown, and he's not a fantasy asset unless you need 3-pointers in a very deep league. The Wizards were expected to buy out his contract, but it's possible they've changed course.
