The veteran has not played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season, but he'll have an outside shot to make the roster in camp. Last season, Cook spent training camp with the Jazz but was waived prior to the regular season.

The Wizards and Brian Cook have agreed to a non-guaranteed deal, according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.
Cook is the 18th player on the roster and the Wizards are as deep as they've been in quite some time. While he has some nice range for a 6'9" forward, Cook will turn 32 this year and is off the fantasy radar.

Agent Mark Bartelstein said Cook has no plans to pursue a buyout by Friday's deadline and said Cook likes being on the Wizards. There was some chatter that Cook would be bought out, but he'll likely stick with the Wizards for the remainder of the season.
