Hamilton agreed to a contract Sunday with Tofaş Spor Kulubu of the Turkish Basketball First League, Sportando reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hamilton saw some late-season run in 2015-16 for an injury-decimated Pelicans squad, logging 11 appearances and averaging 11.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 27.6 minutes per game. He didn't score particularly efficiently, however, hitting just 42.2 percent of his attempts from the field and 28.9 percent of his three-point tries, and that likely prevented him from gaining much traction with NBA teams this offseason. Hamilton will thus try to rebuild his stock in Turkey for at least the next year as he tries to keep the NBA dream alive.

Hamilton is expected to remain with the Pelicans for the rest of the season, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hamilton joined the Pelicans on Mar. 25 on a 10-day deal, and the Pelicans will keep him around for the final six games of the season as they careen toward the lottery. The former Texas standout has scored in double-figures in four of five games since signing on, and he's coming off of a 13-point, 11-rebound, three-assist performance in Sunday's win over the Nets.

Hamilton recorded a double-double with 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 FT, 0-3 3Pt) and a career-high 11 rebounds while adding a trio of steals in 34 minutes during Sunday's win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
The swingman stuck int he starting five for a Pels team that has been devastated by injuries, and he scored in double-digits for the fourth time in five games with his latest club. Hamilton appears to have won a prominent place in the lineup for the end of the season, and he has flashed the ability to contribute in multiple categories now that he is seeing regular run.

Hamilton had 14 points (6-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 31 minutes during the Pelicans' 100-92 loss to the Spurs on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hamilton slid into the starting lineup while Luke Babbitt came off the bench. The Pelicans have been decimated by injuries, which has allowed players like Hamilton the opportunity to step up and play plenty of minutes. Hamilton was one of three Pelicans to see 30 minutes or more on Wednesday, and he could be worth a look down the stretch in leagues that put a premium on counting stats.

Hamilton officially signed a 10-day deal with the Pelicans on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Pelicans received a hardship exception from the NBA, and they'll use the extra roster spot on Hamilton, a former first-round pick out of Texas. Hamilton most recently played in the D-League for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, averaging 14.9 points on 49.7 percent shooting and 9.4 rebounds through 14 games. Given New Orleans' rather dire roster situation, Hamilton could immediately step into a fairly significant role, likely off the bench.

The Pelicans are expected to sign Hamilton to a 10-day contract, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hamilton has been with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers since mid-February, and with the Pelicans' current roster situation, they could use a healthy body in the rotation. He last appeared in an NBA game last season with the Clippers, averaging 8.7 minutes per game over 14 appearances. If Hamilton does sign with the Pelicans, he will add depth to a team that has turned to giving heavy minutes to Luke Babbitt and Alonzo Gee on the wing.

Hamilton is finalizing a contract with the D-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Chris Reichert of Upside Motor reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Vipers are an affiliate of the Rockets, but Hamilton won't become a member of their 15-man roster. Instead, the former 2011 first-round draft pick, who last appeared in the league in 2014-15 with the Clippers, will attempt to rebuild his stock in the D-League before perhaps earning a call-up from any of the NBA's 30 teams later this season.

Hamilton averaged 2.7 points (40% FG, 48% 3Pt, 0% FT), 1.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 0.1 steals in nine minutes per game during 14 regular season games in 2014-15. After signing a couple of 10-day contracts with the Clippers, the team opted to keep him for the remainder of the season. However, his $1.0 million deal for 2015-16 is not guaranteed, so it's possible he'll be searching for a new home this summer.

Hamilton (concussion) continues to be listed as day-to-day, Grant Afseth of Vavel reports. Hamilton suffered a concussion right before the playoffs began and has stayed off the court ever since. Although, he would likely be confined to the bench even he if he was fully healthy as he's not expected to play for the duration of the Clippers postseason campaign.

Hamilton (concussion) has yet to play through the first six games of the playoffs against the Spurs. Hamilton suffered a concussion over a week ago in practice and has been sidelined ever since. He continues to deal with lingering symptoms, but the 24-year-old probably wouldn't see the court in the playoffs if he had a clean bill of health anyway.
