League executives reportedly feel that Devin Ebanks is "the early favorite to be the first call-up from the D-League Showcase." Ebanks is averaging 24.6 points, 3.0 threes and 9.5 rebounds per game with the Texas Legends. His numbers in the NBA have been far less auspicious and he's not on the radar in standard leagues.

Former Laker Devin Ebanks has committed to with the Texas Legends in the D-League. Ebanks was waived by the Mavs on October 22. He had a rough preseason, pleading no contest to DUI charges on October 14. The point here is that he is sticking with basketball in the hope that another NBA team will give him a chance.

Devin Ebanks has been suspended two games for pleading no contest to DUI charges. Ebanks is already a long-shot to make the Mavs' regular season roster, and a season-opening suspension won't help his chances.

Devin Ebanks has signed with the Mavericks. This now gives the Mavericks 19 players on the roster. Even if Ebanks makes the roster, he will have to compete with Vince Carter, Shawn Marion and Jae Crowder for minutes. He can be safely ignored in all formats.

Free agent Devin Ebanks is reportedly drawing interest from the Hawks, Bucks, Bobcats and Nuggets. The 6'9" former Laker has shot 38.5 percent from the field in his three-year career, including 22.2 percent from downtown. He'll serve as emergency depth wherever he lands, and fantasy owners can safely ignore him on draft day.

Devin Ebanks is not expected to return to the Lakers. We all knew this one long before the Lakers season ended. Ebanks was glued to the bench and should have never been re-signed before the season anyway. He'll look to resurrect his career elsewhere, possibly in the D-League.

Devin Ebanks was not with the Lakers on Tuesday due to an upper respiratory infection. Ebanks played once in January, twice in February and once in March while never tallying over six minutes in any appearance. Needless to say, his absence has absolutely no impact for fantasy owners or for the Lakers.
