Paul Millsap has been invited to join Team USA during their six-day training camp in Las Vegas this week.

The team recently lost frontcourt players LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love and Blake Griffin, prompting Team USA director to bring Millsap into the fold. With 19 players competing for 12 roster spots in this summer's FIBA World Cup, Millsap still faces a steep road to making the team.

Paul Millsap's offensive game was in shambles during Saturday's Game 7 loss to the Pacers, making 6-of-21 from the field for 15 points with 17 boards, four assists, four steals and one block in 44 minutes.

He shot 0-of-9 in the first half, which marked the most attempts without a make in any half of his career. Millsap grabbed 10 offensive boards and just couldn't get his put backs to go down while also missing all five shots from deep. The Hawks attempted 92 shots as a team and made just 30.4 percent of them and this game shouldn't have even been as close as it was. Millsap played great this year and finished with second-round value in standard fantasy leagues during the regular season, which is where he'll likely be targeted in drafts next season.

Paul Millsap handed out a playoff career-high five assists to go with 16 points, 18 boards, three steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in Thursday's loss to the Pacers.

His shot selection wasn't there tonight and he made just 4-of-13 from the field. Millsap wasn't at his best down the stretch and he attempted a handful of shots out of rhythm. He put up another big stat line tonight and averaged 20.2 points, 9.8 boards, 2.7 assists, 2.0 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.5 triples in the six games during this series.

Paul Millsap scored a playoff-high 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting with three 3-pointers on Saturday, but it wasn't enough to overcome the visiting Pacers in Game 4.

Millsap also hit 6-of-6 free throws with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks in the loss, but the rest of Atlanta's starters combined for paltry 11-of-36 shooting (30.6 percent). For Millsap, this game was the continuation of his brilliant regular season, during which he poured in a career-high 17.9 points en route to top-20 value in nine-cat leagues.

Paul Millsap called Game 3 a must-win game for the Hawks.

Millsap could have gone on to call Games 4 and 5 must-win games as well, but it's obvious that the Hawks are going to go down swinging against the Pacers. For his part, Millsap scored 19 points to go along with four rebounds, a steal, and a block in Tuesday's Game 2 loss and may need to step up his game if he's going to carry his team to a Round 1 upset over the top-seeded Pacers.

Paul Millsap hit 6-of-12 shots and two 3-pointers for 19 points, four rebounds, a steal and a block in 31 minutes of Tuesday's Game 2 loss to the Pacers.

Millsap didn't play poorly, but the Hawks, who held a four-point lead entering the third quarter, couldn't buy a bucket and watched as the Pacers went on a 17-0 run to put the game away. Look for Millsap and the Hawks to bounce back when the series moves to Atlanta on Thursday for Game 3.

Paul Millsap rested on Wednesday, but all indications are that he's ready to go for the playoffs.

He's dealing with a sore thumb, but it will take a lot more than that to keep him out of the postseason. If you're in a playoff league, draft him as you normally would.

Paul Millsap is expected to rest on Wednesday night against the Bucks, while the rest of the Hawks should be "available."

Mike Scott looks like a good bet for success tonight, but while guys like Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver and Pero Antic are available, that doesn't mean they'll play heavy minutes. Be careful when selecting Hawks in daily lineups.

Paul Millsap (rest) will not play vs. the Bobcats on Monday, and Mike Scott will take his place in the starting lineup.

The Hawks are also resting Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll in their penultimate game of the regular season. That leaves them with a starting lineup of Jeff Teague, Lou Williams, Cartier Martin, Mike Scott and Pero Antic, but this arrangement will end abruptly unless key starters are rested again on Wednesday.

The Hawks may rest some starters for Monday's game vs. the Bobcats, according to beat writer Chris Vivlamore.

Although "early indications" point to some precautionary DNPs, we'll have to await updates before knowing any of the details. Paul Millsap, DeMarre Carroll, Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver and Pero Antic are all potential candidates for rest.
