Douglas will come off the bench for Monday's matchup with the Knicks, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Douglas had started the previous nine games for the Pelicans, but will return to a reserve role Monday. Jrue Holiday is returning to action and will start at point guard, while Luke Babbitt will move down to shooting guard. Due to a large amount of injuries the Pelicans have been forced to toy around with lineups. Douglas may see a decreased workload as a result of his demotion to a reserve role.

Douglas tallied 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine assists, seven rebounds, and one steal over 37 minutes in Sunday's victory against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Douglas has started each of the last six games for the Pelicans and is averaging 12.8 points (on 41.9% shooting), six assists, 4.8 rebounds, two three-pointers, and 1.8 steals over 31.3 minutes. He'll see his opportunities decrease once Norris Cole (back) is healthy again, but in the meantime, Douglas often makes for an attractive cost-effective play at the guard spot in daily formats.

Douglas poured in 28 points (6-14 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight assists, five rebounds, and four steals over 38 minutes during Monday's loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Douglas continued to start for a decimated Pelicans's backcourt and put in his best performance of the year against the Warriors. His assist, steal, and point totals were all season-high's and he played well against the lethal duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. As long as New Orleans continues to battle massive injuries, Douglas will get opportunities. How he uses those opportunities, however, remains to be seen.

Douglas will draw the start in Monday's matchup with the Warriors, Jennifer Hale of Fox Sports reports
EDGE Analysis
This will be Douglas' third straight start. The Pelicans are dealing with quite a few injuries right now, which has resulted in a starting lineup that is continuously adjusted. Douglas played 41 minutes in his first stat, but only 19 in his second, so it is unclear what type of workload to expect. Look for him to play somewhere in between that, thus making him an intriguing DFS play.

Douglas posted 12 points (5-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals across 42 minutes during the Pelicans' 121-114 overtime loss to the Grizzlies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Douglas drew the start, and turned in quality counting stats despite fouling out and committing two turnovers. With Norris Cole battling back soreness and much of the Pelicans' roster ruled out for the remainder of the season, Douglas will likely have a chance to contribute consistently over the final 18 games of 2015-16.

Douglas will draw the start Friday against the Grizzlies, John Reid of the Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Douglas' first start of the season. He is grabbing the starting nod due to Norris Cole sitting out. The Pelicans' backcourt is currently very thin in depth, so Douglas is an interesting play in DFS formats. Cole sat out last game as well, and while Douglas did not start he still posted 16 points, one rebound, four assists, one block, and three triples in 37 minutes.

Douglas posted 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, an assist and two steals over 25 minutes in Thursday's 121-95 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran received some extended run for the second straight night, even though he notably did not get the starting call despite the already-thin Pelicans backcourt missing Bryce Dejean-Jones due to a contract situation. The 29-year-old was nevertheless efficient with his time on the court, and figures to have a nice uptick in playing time now that Tyreke Evans (knee) will miss the remainder of the season. Due to recent developments, Douglas shapes up as an interesting potential addition in deeper season-long formats and a potential high-value play in daily leagues for the remainder of the season.

Douglas is the probable to be the starter on Thursday night against the Thunder, John Reid of The Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryce Dejean-Jones isn't expected to play in Thursday's tilt, so Douglas will inherit the starting point guard role. It will be Douglas's first start of the season. He is averaging 5.8 points, 1.8 assists, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 15 minutes per game through 31 games this season.

Douglas played 22 minutes off the bench and produced eight points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two assists, two steals, and one rebound during Wednesday's 100-96 win over the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Douglas ended up cutting into the court time of Norris Cole (24 minutes) a little more than usual. Though the Pelicans outscored the Jazz by nine points when he was on the court compared to minus-7 when Cole was running the offense, Douglas probably isn't primed to see his role blossom much further. Douglas had produced a combined seven points on 2-for-17 shooting over the preceding four games.

Douglas scored 18 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 FT, 3-4 3Pt) while adding six assists, three rebounds, a steal and a block in 25 minutes of Monday's loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran played an expanded role for the second straight game Monday, as the Pelicans were forced to go small after the duo of Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans were forced to leave due to injury, further depleting a shallow Pelicans roster. Douglas has averaged 16 points, five assists, 3.5 threes and two steals over that two-game sample, indicating that he could be in line to provide decent fantasy returns if his playing time remains consistent. The Pelicans' dynamic duo will have a couple of days to heal up before Thursday's matchup with the Kings, and Douglas could play an even larger role if one or both men are forced to sit out.
