Blake (illness) will play in Portland's final preseason game Friday, the Oregonian reports. Blake reportedly was going to miss the rest of the preseason because of the illness, but he's clearly feeling better and will play Friday against the Clippers. Don't be surprised if he's kept to a limited amount of minutes though.

Blake (illness) will not play Tuesday against Denver, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports. Blake is dealing with an upper respiratory illness and will sit out Tuesday's exhibition. He'll have two more chances to play prior to the start of the regular season: Wednesday against the Lakers and Friday against the Clippers.

Portland Trail Blazers sign G Steve Blake. Blake's deal will reportedly be under Portland's bi-annual exception for $4.2 million over two years and the second year is a player option. Blake averaged 6.9 points, 1.4 3-pointers, and 5.6 assists per game with the Lakers and Warriors last season and will serve as a backup point guard who can also play shooting guard for the Blazers. This move doesn't necessarily rule out Mo Williams' return to Rip City, but it would seem unlikely at this point.

The Wolves could target unrestricted free agent Steve Blake in a possible sign-and-trade deal with the Warriors in a Kevin Love deal. With the Wolves not dealing Love in the draft, the likelihood of the Warriors getting a deal done increases. Although, a team could easily deal a player they just drafted. As for Blake, he is also getting interest from the Knicks, but the addition of Jose Calderon makes them a bit less needy for a shooting point guard.

The Knicks are expected to target free agent Steve Blake this offseason. With the news of Raymond Felton being on the trade block, the Knicks are definitely going to be after a point guard. A guy like Blake makes a lot of sense in their system for his ability to move without the ball and get open for catch-and-shoot triples. In fact, 78.9 percent of Blake's treys last season came off catch-and-shoot chances. The Knicks may want him as a backup, but he would certainly fit in with the first unit.

Steve Blake had 12 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals, a block and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes off the Warriors bench on Tuesday. The Warriors won handily and Mark Jackson was able to get Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson some rest late in this one. Blake also saw some extra run with Andre Iguodala out for three games with a sore knee, but we don't trust him enough to tell you to use him.

Steve Blake played 27 minutes in Wednesday's blowout win, finishing with four points, two rebounds and six assists on 2-of-6 shooting. He saw a few extra minutes tonight when Stephen Curry left early with a sore leg, while the fact the game was over by halftime also helped. As long as Curry can walk, Blake has no fantasy value.

Steve Blake came off the bench for six points, five assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in just 16 minutes off the Warriors bench on Saturday. Sixteen minutes isn't going to cut it in fantasy and it would appear that his trade to the Warriors has killed his fantasy value. Buh-bye, Blake.

Steve Blake made his Warriors debut on Thursday with three points, two boards, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes. He played on and off the ball with the second unit tonight and his 18 minutes serve as where the bar should be set while the Warriors are healthy. Blake can be cut in most formats.

Steve Blake will play against the Rockets on Thursday. It will be his Warriors debut and it's unclear how many minutes he'll see. The Warriors play Stephen Curry 37.7 minutes per game, so there are not going to be many minutes available for Blake. While it's a nice pickup in reality, Blake's fantasy value has been crushed with his move up the California coastline.
