Samuel Dalembert missed all three of his shots and finished without a point or block, and just one rebound in 10 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets. He did enough to disgust coach Rick Carlisle that Bernard James started at center for the second half (0 points, 4 rebounds, 10 minutes). Brandan Wright had the big game in the middle for the Mavs and we're all for dumping Sammy D for Wright if you own Dalembert.

Samuel Dalembert hit 6-of-9 shots on his way to 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in 25 minutes of Saturday's win over the Pistons. He also shut down Andre Drummond, or at least kept him in foul trouble, as the Mavs cruised to the win. It's hard to get too excited about Dalembert, as he had scored seven or fewer points in his previous four games, but he is averaging an acceptable 6.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over his last five.

Updating a previous item, Samuel Dalembert will start for the Mavericks vs. the Sixers on Friday. It was reported Jae Crowder would start, but that's not the case anymore. The move didn't make much sense to begin with due to the Sixers going extremely small, so the Mavericks would have played right into their hands.

Samuel Dalembert started and had seven points, nine rebounds and zero blocks in 19 minutes on Tuesday against the Heat. Brandan Wright came off the bench for 12 points, five rebounds and a block, and the two big men look like Rick Carlisle's preference in the middle for the Mavs. Neither is a must-own player, but both deserve a look if you're desperate for a center.

Samuel Dalembert grabbed 11 rebounds on Sunday, three shy of his season-high, while chipping in six points and one block in just 23 minutes of action. This makes two double-digit rebounding games in the past three for Sammy, who is averaging a healthy 24 minutes in four February games. He's worth a look for fantasy owners solely interested in a handful of high-percentage points, rebounds and blocks.

Samuel Dalembert scored 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting with six rebounds and no steals or blocks in the Mavs' 103-81 win over the Jazz on Friday. Dalembert had made some noise this past week and while blowouts are not typically the best measurements, he stayed on the high-end of his typical workload and wasn't able to get the job done in 12-14 team formats. Given the three-man center rotation, we're not inclined to cut him much slack and owners can do better in most cases.

Samuel Dalembert poured in 14 points and grabbed 10 boards against the Grizzlies on Wednesday in 23 minutes. He's turned in two good games after one of his patented disappearing acts heading into the game tonight. Dalembert has gone on these decent runs numerous times during the season, but he always seems to fall off. Unless you're really fishing for blocks or boards, he can be left on the wire.

Samuel Dalembert made his first noise in a while during Monday's win over the Cavs, scoring 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting with eight rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes. Rick Carlisle has been pretty clear that he's using an interchangeable three-man rotation at center and tonight Dalembert simply got hot against a really bad Cavs team. And in a bit of deja vu from every other city he has played, the postgame report included talk of Dalembert thinking he should play more while he continues to be late for team activities. He needs to show us much more before we consider an add in 12-14 team formats.

Samuel Dalembert (strained shoulder) will play on Wednesday. He had an MRI on his shoulder which obviously came back negative, and anyone who speculatively picked up DeJuan Blair or Brandan Wright should look elsewhere for frontcourt production.
