Pierce (knee) contributed nine points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and one rebound over 20 minutes in Wednesday's 91-81 victory over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce, who was making his return from a four-game absence, saw a little more court time than his season average as a byproduct of coach Doc Rivers holding out Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford, and Wesley Johnson for rest, while Jeff Green also exited midway through the game with a knee contusion. Green's injury could end up sidelining him for the Clippers' next game Friday against the Jazz, but with Rivers, Crawford, and Johnson all on track to return, Pierce may have to settle for a more reduced role on the wing.

Pierce (knee) is available to play in Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce has missed the previous four games for the Clippers, but will be available to return Wednesday. Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford, and Wesley Johnson will be out for this one, so Pierce could potentially see some extra work on the wing. It is unclear if they plan on limiting his workload considering his recent absence.

Pierce (knee) will "probably" be cleared to play Wednesday against the Lakers, per coach Doc Rivers, Dan Woike of the OC Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rivers was asked about Pierce's status prior to Tuesday night's game, the first of a home-and-home set against the Lakers, so it's worth noting that his stance could have changed since then, but it appears as though the veteran Pierce is set to make his return Wednesday after missing the last four games. Pierce figures to see limited action over the final few regular season games with the goal of being at 100 percent for the postseason.

Pierce (knee) is considered doubtful by coach Doc Rivers to play Tuesday against the Lakers, Rowan Cavner of Clippers.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce continues to nurse a sprained ankle and bruised knee sustained during a hard fall last Monday against the Celtics. The Clippers are handling the veteran with caution, though Rivers did note that Pierce is feeling better after the weekend. Again, though, Pierce is expected to sit out Tuesday with potential chance to return Wednesday as the Clippers again square off against the Lakers on the second night of a back-to-back.

Pierce (ankle/knee) didn't practice Saturday and will not play Sunday against the Wizards, the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The next possible game for Pierce is Tuesday against the Lakers. Without Pierce, head coach Doc Rivers has given more playing time to Wesley Johnson and Jeff Green.

Pierce (knee) did not travel with the Clippers for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Rowan Cavner of Clippers.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce sprained his ankle and bruised his knee on Monday against the Celtics, but the veteran is not expected to be sidelined for more than a handful of games. He'll miss at least the next two, however, as Pierce will also be held out of Thursday's matchup with the Thunder in Oklahoma City. As such, the soonest Pierce could be back is Sunday's game against the Wizards. The Clippers then play a home-and-home series with the Lakers on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Coach Doc Rivers said Monday that Pierce (ankle, knee) will miss time but the injuries won't keep him out for the remainder of the season, Arash Markazi of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce took an awkward fall Monday against the Celtics and ultimately came away with a right ankle sprain and a right knee contusion. Wesley Johnson and Jeff Green are in store for added minutes in the duration of Pierce's undefined absence.

Pierce will not return to Monday's game against the Celtics after suffering a right knee contusion and a right ankle sprain.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce suffered the injuries while driving to the basket and awkwardly falling on Jared Sullinger. It seems that the veteran avoided a major injury, but it remains unclear how much time he'll need to recover before making a comeback. In his absence, expect Jeff Green or Wesley Johnson to move into the starting lineup.

Pierce continued to start at small forward in Wednesday's 114-98 loss to the Warriors, but was held to three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, and one steal over 17 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Doc Rivers opted not to drop Pierce from the starting lineup even with Jeff Green's (concussion) return, but the aging forward's days on the top unit may still be numbered. Both Pierce and fellow starting forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (eight minutes) saw their court time fall from the previous two contests, as Green and Wesley Johnson took on more prominent roles off the bench. The Clippers have struggled to find consistency from both forward spots since Blake Griffin (hand, quad) was sidelined by injury, and that's resulted in the minutes being spread around liberally between Pierce, Mbah a Moute, Green, and Johnson. Green is probably the most appealing option of the lot, but until he's entrenched in a starting role, it'll be difficult to count on him for serviceable numbers.

Pierce pitched in 12 points (3-7 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 28 minutes in Saturday's 113-102 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
With Jeff Green exiting the game early with a facial laceration, the 18-year veteran received some extended run and was able to provide some production from beyond the arc. While receiving his highest allotment of playing time since Nov. 19 versus the Warriors, Pierce was able to drain multiple threes for the third time in March while amassing his highest point total in over a month. The performance was certainly encouraging to a point from a fantasy perspective, but the extent of Green's injury will be the strongest determinant of whether Pierce receives sufficient playing time so as to have a chance to return similiar results in coming games.
