Collison has yet to practice on his sprained ankle, The Oklahoman reports. Collison initially suffered the injury on Mar. 20, which was accompanied by at least 10 days of recovery. Because he continues to rehab, he'll almost assuredly miss Wednesday's game versus the Mavericks.

Collison (ankle) will miss at least 10 days, NBA.com writer Randy Renner reports. The Thunder continue to experience remarkably bad injury luck, as Collison's absence is piled on to an injury list that already features Kevin Durant (foot), Serge Ibaka (knee) and Enes Kanter (ankle) with mostly indefinite timetables. Steven Adams and Mitch McGary figure to get as many minutes as they can handle while Collison is out, foul counts permitting.

Collison suffered a sprained ankle in Friday's 123-115 win over the Hawks, Oklahoman reports. Collison was spotted on crutches after the game, but coach Scott Brooks declined to speculate as to whether the injury could cost him time, saying simply, "Don't know his status." The 34-year-old Collison chipped in 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocks Friday in 24 minutes, the most minutes he's played since March 4.

Collison moved into the starting lineup for Friday's game against Portland but ended up only seeing 12 minutes of plating time due to foul trouble. He finished with six points, three rebounds, and one assist. Collison got the start in place of the injured Enes Kanter (thigh) but was unable to take full advantage of the promotion since he averaged a foul for every three minutes that he played. He'll likely be given the start whenever Kanter is unable to play in the future, although as evidenced by Friday's limited outing, that doesn't necessarily make Collison a candidate for increased production.

Collison will start in place of Enes Kanter Friday against the Trail Blazers, Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman reports. Collison will get another run in the starting lineup Friday thanks to an injury to the thigh of Enes Kanter. However, his presence in the lineup is likely temporary, as he will likely return to the bench once Kanter returns. Collison and Mitch McGary are likely the biggest beneficiaries of Kanter's injury, and both should see added minutes Friday.

Collison will give way to Enes Kanter in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Charlotte, Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman reports.Collison still figures to serve as the first big man off the bench, and with Kevin Durant (foot) unable to play, it's not entirely out of the question that Collison could reach the 26-to-28 minutes he played in each of the last three games.

Collison started at center during Thursday's game against the Mavericks. He finished with two points (1-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 26 minutes.Collison was forced into his first start of the season Thursday due to a combination of injuries and players departing after the trade deadline. The Thunder play against the Hornets on Saturday and Collison may find himself in the starting lineup yet again, although the most tenured player on the Thunder provides limited value even when he sees significant minutes on the floor.

Collison will start Thursday's game against the Mavericks, The Oklahoman reports.Because Kendrick Perkins was exchanged for Enes Kanter prior to Thursday's trade deadline, Collison and Mitch McGary are the only options for coach Scott Brooks to consider at the five. Collison has yet to start this season, but during his last two nods during the 2012-13 season, he averaged five points (on 63 percent shooting) and 1.5 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Collison signed a two-year extension worth close to $8 million with the Thunder on Tuesday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports. A glance at Collison's numbers show that he's been a relatively minor contributor this season, but he's considered one of the better locker room guys in the league and has been with the organization since being drafted by Seattle in 2004. The deal will keep the 34-year-old in Oklahoma City for two more seasons, after which it's reasonable to think he may consider retirement. Collison is averaging 3.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game this season.

Collison played nine minutes off the bench Tuesday, recording one point and four rebounds in the contest. Collison's playing time has been up and down this month, as he has only had back-to-back double digit minute games just once. His role seems to be diminishing and he remains a very low-end fantasy option.
