Teletovic will start at small forward for Wednesday's season opener against the Hornets.

Teletovic saw multiple starts throughout the preseason schedule, so it comes as little surprise he's expected to open the season in that role. Coach Jason Kidd did acknowledge that he expected Tony Snell to start at some point early on this season, so once Snell is back to full strength, it's more than possible that the top overall unit could change. With that said, Teletovic should get plenty of run on Wednesday and should provide the Bucks with a much needed three-point shooter to spread the floor.

Teletovic netted 14 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block across 25 minutes in Wednesday's 111-103 preseason win over the Pacers.

EDGE Analysis

Teletovic received his second straight start at power forward, though coach Jason Kidd has yet to confirm if the free-agent pickup will stick in that capacity when the regular season arrives. Given the Bucks' desperate need to have capable three-point shooters on the floor alongside stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker, there's reason to think that Teletovic, whose top skill is his distance shooting, would be a good fit on the top unit, especially with the rest of the team's forward options not offering much inspiration. Teletovic could be in line for around 25 minutes per night if he starts, but nearly all of his fantasy and real-life value will come on the offensive end, as he's a subpar defender.

Teletovic is in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason tilt with the Pistons, Bucks radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports.

The Bucks have experimented with multiple lineups throughout the preseason, but Monday's edition features Giannis Antetokounmpo, Matthew Dellavedova, Teletovic, Jabari Parker and Miles Plumlee. It's yet to be determined who will run with the starters once the regular season is here, but Teletovic is expected to have a consistent role in the regular rotation no matter if that's with the top unit, or coming off the bench.

Teletovic started at power forward and played 17 minutes in Saturday's 88-74 preseason win over the Mavericks, recording seven points (3-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist.

EDGE Analysis

Bucks coach Jason Kidd included Rashad Vaughn and Mason Plumlee with the top unit to begin training camp, but neither player started Saturday night, with Teletovic and Greg Monroe, respectively, replacing them in the lineup. With Khris Middleton (hamstring) set to miss most of the season, the Bucks will desperately need Teletovic to offer the team some outside shooting, which should guarantee him a consistent role in Kidd's rotation. Teletovic didn't have much success Saturday, but his 39.3 percent mark from three-point range last season provides a truer indicator of his abilities.

Teletovic agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with the Bucks Friday, Marc Stein of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Teletovic is coming off the most productive season of his NBA career with the Suns where he averaged 12.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 39 percent from behind the arc. The 30-year-old forward will provide Milwaukee with some much-needed floor spacing off the bench and provide an outside stroke that is difficult to find on the team's current roster. He will also be reunited with head coach Jason Kidd, who he played under in Brooklyn.

Teletovic scored 22 points (8-19 FT, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and added nine rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 114-105 season-ending victory over the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

The five-year veteran closed out the season with a stellar stretch of five consecutive 20-point-plus performances off the bench, and six in his last seven games. Teletovic also drained multiple threes in seven straight to close out the campaign, serving as an invaluable source of scoring on the Suns'second unit. His solid play in the latter stages of a lost season for Phoenix seems likely to garner the 30-year-old multiple suitors in the offseason.

Teletovic scored 26 points (10-20 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with three rebounds, one assists, and two steals over 34 minutes in Monday's loss to the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

Teletovic has been one of the few who are enjoying the dog days of Phoenix's nightmarish season. He's now recorded three consecutive 20-point games while averaging a whopping 18 shots per contest and is carrying the scoring load for the Suns down the stretch. Who knows what this means long term, but this certainly looks good for his production next year.

Teletovic finished with 22 points (8-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists, and one block in 29 minutes during Saturday's win against the Pelicans.

EDGE Analysis

That's back to back solid scoring outputs from Teletovic, who continues to make the most of his increased minutes. The Bosnian forward has scored 20-plus points in four of his last five games. If the fourth-year sharpshooter can continue to hit multiple triples on a consistent basis, he'll see a bigger role in the offense next season.

Teletovic poured in a team-high 26 points (10-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a steal over 31 minutes in Thursday's 124-115 victory over the Rockets.

EDGE Analysis

The four-year veteran spearheaded the upset with his third 20-point-plus effort in the last four games. It was also the fourth straight game with multiple threes for the sharpshooter, who's contninued to receive solid minutes the last two games despite the return of Jon Leuer (ankle) to the frontcourt rotation. Given his array of recent stellar performances, Teletovic looks like a good bet for plenty of playing time as the season winds down over the next few days.

Teletovic scored 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding six rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes off the bench during Sunday's loss to the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

The Suns don't exactly have much in the way of scoring threats right now, especially with Brandon Knight (sports hernia) out, and as a result Teletovic is averaging an impressive 19.2 points, 6.4 boards and 2.8 threes over his last five games. Expect him to continue seeing heavy usage over the final five games of the season.
