Sanders will be waived by the Cavaliers, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders' return to professional basketball following a two-year hiatus didn't necessarily go as planned. He ended up taking part in just five games with the Cavaliers after being signed late in the season, averaging only 2.6 minutes per contest. Sanders wasn't able to impress the Cavaliers' coaching brass enough to remain on the roster for their upcoming playoff run, as they'll instead sign 7-foot-3 big man Walter Tavares. Sanders should get a look from teams ahead of training camp next season, although he won't be guaranteed a roster spot if he doesn't improve over the summer.

Sanders has been recalled from the D-League, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cavs have been bringing Sanders up to speed gradually, but he may be thrust into an increased role Wednesday as the team will be without Tristan Thompson, who suffered a thumb injury Tuesday against Orlando. With Andrew Bogut (leg) and Chris Andersen (knee) done for the season, Sanders is currently the Cavs' only healthy true center, though stretch-five Channing Frye also figures to see a bump in minutes Wednesday.

Sanders was assigned to the D-League's Canton Charge on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to see any run in the Cavs' double-overtime victory over the Pacers on Sunday, Sanders will head back to the Charge, who will play their first game in the D-League postseason Wednesday against Raptors 905. In his four appearances for the Charge this season, Sanders is averaging 6.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 19.4 minutes per game.

Sanders was recalled Sunday from the D-League's Canton Charge, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders continues to move back and forth between the two rosters, but gets the majority of his playing time in the D-League. With the Cavaliers, Sanders has played just two games and logged a total of four minutes, so despite being recalled, he'll likely remain outside the regular rotation.

Sanders was assigned Sunday to the D-League's Canton Charge, Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Sanders will continue to move back and forth between the two rosters, with the D-League offering the opportunity to get him back into game shape. Sanders could be recalled in time for Monday's game against the Spurs, although he's largely remained out of the regular rotation and may not see the floor in a competitive contest.

Sanders was recalled Thursday from the D-League's Canton Charge, Jason Lloyd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders saw his first action with the Charge on Saturday, posting two points (0-2 FG, 2-4 FT), one rebound and three blocks over 12 minutes. He also picked up five fouls, so it wasn't necessarily the best debut. The Cavaliers continue to try and get Sanders minutes in order to get his conditioning in order after a two-year hiatus from the NBA, so it wouldn't be surprising if he continues to alternate between the two rosters. That said, after being recalled, Sanders should be available off the bench for Friday's game against the Hornets, although his role will likely be very limited.

Sanders was assigned to the D-League's Canton Charge on Friday, Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following a two-game stint with the Charge earlier this week, Sanders rejoined the Cavaliers ahead of Thursday's win over the Jazz, but didn't see the court in the contest. With the organization eager to have Sanders pick up some extended minutes following a two-year layoff from professional basketball, he may be in store for several more D-League appearances before he coach Tyronn Lue trusts him as a regular member of the Cavs rotation.

Sanders was recalled Thursday from the D-League's Canton Charge.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders was sent down to the D-League earlier this week and averaged 10.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.5 blocks across 27.0 minutes in two games with the Charge. While he was fully expected to remain in the D-League for two weeks, it appears the Cavaliers will instead move him back and forth between the two rosters, while working him back into game shape. He'll likely be available for Thursday's game against the Jazz after being recalled, but it wouldn't be surprising if he was re-assigned shortly after.

Sanders was assigned to the D-League's Canton Charge on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After signing with the Cavaliers for the rest of the season Monday, Sanders was active for Tuesday's 128-96 win over the Pistons. He ended up seeing two minutes of garbage time and missed his only shot and picked up two fouls in what was his first NBA action since Feb. 20, 2015. Due to the 28-year-old's extensive time away from professional basketball, the Cavaliers are expected to stash him in the D-League for about two weeks in order to give him more meaningful playing time and an opportunity to regain some conditioning. Once he's recalled by the Cavaliers, it's expected that Sanders will challenge for a rotation role and potentially settle in as the top backup to starting center Tristan Thompson.

Sanders is expected to spend the next two weeks with the D-League's Canton Charge, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders just signed with the Cavaliers on Monday and hasn't played in an NBA game since the 2014-15 season, so he's going to need some time to get his conditioning in order and get back into game shape. For that reason, Sanders is slated to join the Charge as early as Saturday in order to shake off the rust and is expected to remain there for around two weeks. That would leave roughly three weeks left in the regular season for Sanders to earn a role in the regular rotation off the bench, although that likely won't be more than 10-to-20 minutes with Tristan Thompson commanding the bulk of the playing time. Sanders provides the Cavaliers with an above average rim-protector, but considering the upcoming lengthy stay in the D-League, Sanders can largely be avoided in fantasy leagues for the time being.
